Story Summary of PEARL HARBOR (2001):
For those of you who know the history, the title of the film on top of this will surely remind you of the historic events that led the United States entered World War II. On December 7, 1941, Pearl Harbor harbor full of U.S. warships suddenly attacked without warning by the Japanese air fleet that so many victims.

As a result, the United States, which was still in doubt involved in World War II, was fully joined the Allies and declared war on Japan and the two allies, Germany and Italy. Many of the film which tells the tragedy, but in the movie "Pearl Harbor" by director Michael Bay, the tragedy is just the background story.
Its going to be told in film production in 2001 it was a love triangle drama of two men and a woman who happened to be the three of them working on the military. Once the two boys in rural Tennessee in 1923, Danny Walker and Rafe McCawley chum and dreamed of becoming a pilot. 18 years later, precisely in 1941, Rafe (Ben Affleck) has become a charismatic man and a U.S. Army Air Corps pilot (forerunner of the U.S. Air Force) at the rank of captain.
On the other hand though Europe has been plunged into war, but the U.S. was still neutral so Rafe who want to fight in the air so a volunteer pilot for the British Eagles Squadron received foreign Piot. But his departure to Europe means that Rafe left his girlfriend, Evelyn Johnson (Kate Beckinsale), a U.S. Navy nurse lieutenant and best friend, Danny (Josh Hartnett) who is also captain of the pilots in the Air Corps. But Danny and Evelyn then heard Rafe shot down on a mission and is considered to have been killed.
Evelyn and Danny was devastated to hear the news because they do not think Rafe so quickly gone from their lives. Evelyn is so sad to see, Danny is also not less sad, trying to comfort the girl. Because often together, do not be surprised if there is seeds of love between the two. One night, Danny and Evelyn go to the beach and unexpected meeting with Rafe. Apparently Rafe is still alive and is now angry to see his girlfriend fell into the arms of his best friend. Intimate friendships and even then transformed into fierce hostility. Yet again Rafe and Danny resolve their problems, sudden Japanese air attack on Pearl Harbor.
Will this love triangle between Rafe, Danny and Evelyn completed while they face the war broke out? What will happen in the end?...
